This sweet couple welcomed their first baby girl, after having three of the most handsome boys you could ask for! This was not mama's first home birth, nor her first water birth...she was such a warrior, and what a beautiful, empowering water birth it was! Baby Margot came out covered in a thick layer of vernix (a cheesy-like substance that protects the baby's sensitive skin in-utero), and a full head of dark hair. So honored to witness this family welcome Margot earthside, and even more amazing to see the incredible Terri and Annabelle, of Spokane River Midwives, in action. Terri and Annabelle are truly are some of the most calm, loving, and inspiring women I have ever met. They are both so incredibly respectful of a mother's needs/wants, as well as their partner's. They have such a great sense of balance between the seriousness, and the sense of humor you must have to give birth, and to work in the birth field. I adore these two so much and what they stand for, and I really look forward to future deliveries with them. If you are interested in having a home birth or want to learn more about the opportunity, please consider these two for your attending midwives!
