These are lifestyle sessions that capture the newest addition to your growing family, fresh out of the womb. This documents those tiny still-wrinkled fingers and toes, a fresh umbilical cord stump, the unbathed wisps of baby hair, the story of how happy everyone is together at last. This new special price for this type of session includes a print release to digital images, custom birth announcements (made by yours truly) and a custom mini album. The session would take place either still in hospital/birthing center, or at home.
I absolutely adore the beautiful bond between mother and child during a nursing session... 
'Pixieset': A Fantastic New Way To Show Client Galleries - Spokane, Washington Newborn Photographer8/19/2013 Although I had a way to pass galleries to clients on my website already, it was not user-friendly and honestly, sometimes confusing! I had previously tried PASS for client galleries, and I did like it better than what I was using (and still recommend it to try), but it still wasn't exactly what I was looking for...and then I found Pixieset...and fell in love!! Here are just a few snapshots from a wedding, notice the layout and how it tells a story: 
Why do I love it so much? Each gallery has a custom password, printing capability, 'favorite' click on each image, full gallery or individual image downloading, and social media sharing... Plus it shows off those images so well! Each client of Natalie Bee Photography will be receiving a gallery just like this. 
This first-time mom and dad are awaiting their little boy, very patiently. We had such a blast walking through the beautiful Manito Park on the South Hill of Spokane, chasing the sun around the tall trees. These two are so absolutely in love, it's so fun to watch them interact with on another...just warms my heart! I've had so many baby girls in the studio lately, so it will be nice to have another boy :) 
Katie's Gorgeous Spokane River Maternity Session - Spokane, Washington Newborn Photographer8/13/2013 I absolutely loved working with this sweet family, who get to meet their little baby boy in about 5 weeks! Katie is just so beautiful pregnant, beaming with happiness, and has that lovely pregnancy glow about her. I was so excited when they told me that they were going to bring their other "baby", May. I had my dog in my own maternity portraits (and newborn), so I was happy to oblige for them as well. She did such a great job for being in a new place with so many new smells, and got lots of treats! :) We chased the sun around the Spokane River to finish this fun beach session, and now I anxiously wait for that call/text about his birth, to schedule their newborn session within the first 2 weeks of his little life. 
My oh my, what a week it has been...! My Facebook newsfeed has been flooded with so many amazing images and stories from moms about their breastfeeding relationship. It warms my heart to see nursing in public becoming more and more "normalized" (...as it darn-well should be...!). Since most of my recent nursing sessions have been completely private, I can't show off all the sweet mama/baby duos I met this week...but I can show you a few of my personal favorites, both past and from this week!           |
