Thank you for taking the time to read a little more about me! I have been documenting birth stories professionally now since 2012, and have had the honor of attending just over 70 births in that time. Because of my intense passion for everything birth related, I trained to be a birth Doula four years ago with Wholistic Woman. My birth photography style is documentary: Raw, emotional, honest. I feel that I am used to my fullest potential when I am working as both Doula and Photographer at the same time. This way, I am able to fully support my clients emotionally and physically, while still being able to capture their unique birth story.
In my personal time, I am pretty busy being a hot mess mom of 4 amazing little kids: my oldest is 7, my only daughter is 4, my second son is 18 months, and youngest son was just born in April. I enjoy wandering my large garden, talking to my chickens, and working on my little homestead. I also love listening to music (a MUST), playing pool, drinking coffee, Amazon Prime-ing, taking family road trips, playing with my two rescue Pits, and having movie nights with my kids (popcorn included, always). I am known to be extremely goofy, playfully sarcastic, and a loyal friend. I happen to be a classic INFP personality, which makes this job truly ideal for me! I love creating strong personal bonds with my clients, and fostering those relationships with them. I would love to be considered for your birth team, and can't wait to hear from you!

Sweet Words from Past Clients:
"There are quite a few incredible birth photographers in our area, and I knew I had to meet with each of them to really know who I would be able to choose to attend my birth. After meeting with Natalie in-person, I knew I didn't have to meet with any more photographers, we just clicked. Not only does she have an impressive birth portfolio, and her prices are extremely fair for what birth coverage entails, but she truly is so fun to work with. Natalie will be the first person to know when I am pregnant again (well, besides my husband, of course!) because I couldn't imagine anyone else being able to photograph the process like she does so beautifully."
"After my husband unexpectedly left me during my pregnancy, Natalie made me feel safe and loved during a very dark time in my life. She helped me as a freshly single, postpartum mom and I cannot thank her enough for such an amazing experience."
"After a couple years of looking at Natalie's work, I knew I wanted her to document the birth of our third child. Her work is beautiful and perfectly captures the emotion and feel of the room. However, not only is she a fabulous photographer; she is very passionate about birth and mothers. This shows through as Natalie was quick to offer help, fill up my water bottle and offered emotional support when needed. She made me feel valued and supported as a laboring mom, and if we are blessed with another pregnancy, I will happily ask Natalie to be a part of our birth again...!"
"After our first photographer canceled, I felt very let down and afraid that we wouldn't be able to find someone to document the birth of our baby in time. Natalie was recommended by a friend and was able to get us on her schedule, even though she had another momma due very close to my due date. She was so personable and friendly and we hired her right away. She was at our house in an instant after I called, it seemed, and I didn't even notice her during my labor, until after our baby came and I couldn't help but keep showing her off. The images came out incredibly beautiful. We adore them. We adore Natalie and are hiring her to document the birth of our third baby this fall. Not only did I get some gorgeous photos of one of the most important days of our lives, but I gained a friend."
"Natalie went above and beyond: She was discreet, thorough, and made my partner and I feel extremely comfortable from the very beginning. She was so professional, but at the same time, felt like a dear friend. She was non-intrusive during my labor and delivery, even with flash! All around, very impressed and would ABSOLUTELY hire her again for future births."
"We love the images we received from Natalie! We chose her to document the home-birth of our third baby and she did such an amazing job. The moments she captured are priceless and her personality is perfect for the birthing atmosphere. Warm, gentle and completely laid back. If you're looking for someone who perceives all that is beautiful about birth and makes you feel comfortable and unpressed during the process, it's Natalie!"
"It wasn't until my third pregnancy that we decided to hire a birth photographer and I wasn't sure what to expect, but Natalie fully met and exceeded all of our expectations! Her presence during labor was unobtrusive and calm and the memories she captured are priceless. I did not realize how much her photos would impact my birth experience until I saw them. Instead of a few candid pictures showing me sweaty and exhausted after labor, I have photos revealing the raw strength and beauty of our baby's birth. Natalie captured each intimate moment and left me feeling empowered as a mother who had accomplished something amazing."
