It absolutely blows my mind that my very first "official" newborn client, is now 9 months old! Has it really only been that long that I have been doing this...?? Wow, how time flies when you're having fun!!! ;)

The bride & groom of this lovely backyard wedding were, to say the least, amazing!! The quintessential "good food, good people, good drink, good party" kind of wedding. The love between these two was just awesome to witness, and made me turn on the water works just a little bit *sniffle*.
Mom, in labor, was craving Dutch Bros. coffee, "like none other", so daddy was amazing enough to stop, and even get her much-adored Owl mug (Breast Cancer Awareness mug). By the time she got to the hospital and got her epidural, she was starving, and had to munch on something (behind the nurse's back, naturally...), so, Baked Cheetos it was.
Mom was soon all thumbs-up, ready to finally meet her baby boy! At 2:49pm, we got to meet beautiful Liam, at perfect 6 pounds 15 ounces, eyes wide open and aware. After 9 long months, both mom & dad were so elated to finally get to meet him...they wept together in joy. It was an absolute pleasure working with Nicole of Spokane Kids Calendar, and Debbie of Debbie Mitchell Photography, on this very special project. Combining forces to offer 24 family mini sessions, where all proceeds are donated to Inland NW Baby.
Inland NW Baby is an amazing local non-profit organization that helps clothe and diaper children of families in need. With this venture, we were able to raise a whopping $1,100 to help with giving back to our community. A BIG thank you to Nicole & Debbie for letting me in on this project. Making so many people smile, makes me heart so happy. If you, or someone you know, would like to donate clothes, new diapers, socks, shoes, money, or just some good ole fashion elbow grease, please contact Julie from Inland NW Baby...she would be overwhelmed by your graciousness. See details on how to help, here. LOVED working with all these amazing families!!! The perfect stocking stuffer. The perfect "I Love You" sayer. Brewster slept so incredibly well for me, and only peed once while nakey! (That's a first...!) I can't wait to see what a beautiful young lady she will grow into. It's super, uber important at your engagement session that both of you feel comfortable, because I always want these sessions to be about the couple, about the interaction and love...not being stylish.
On the other hand...I do want you to come in clothes that show you off! I want you to both look snazzy. Yes...snazzy. Here are some great ideas to make sure you don't match too much, but are not wearing polka dots, pin-stripes, and plaid. Incorporating hats, scarves, jewelry, etc. to your outfit is always highly suggested. Please no super bright colors or loud patterns and make sure that the colors you do wear "mesh" together. You don't have to match...in fact, I would not want you to be exact matches (White T-shirt and Khaki pants), you do want some contrast. Some great places to get fashion tips?
