Birth of Cameron - Spokane, Washington Birth Photographer

I have been so looking forward to this birth, because, let's face it...what a huge honor is it to be hired by another photographer...?! Lynnette is the sweet & talented woman behind the camera at Photography by Lynnette. She has just the cutest family, a mama of now THREE boys under 5 years. They have a busy household, I can only imagine...!

Mama rocked an amazing natural birth, and looked absolutely glowing while doing so. She was already overdue and was scheduled to come in the very next evening for an induction! Baby boy had other plans for them. I got the "I'm in labor finally!" text around noon on Thursday, and then finally received "the text" at 6:50pm while enjoying a Costco hot dog dinner with the family. Packed up my things lightning-fast and arrived just 45 minutes later to the hospital, and walked into a room of smiling faces. 

We had many laughs over Grandpa getting friend requests from Willie Nelson on Facebook, watched basketball, listened to Scottish Highlander music & the Dixie Chicks, walked the halls, talked about doulas, and looked at baby books. Lynnette breathed so effortlessly through each wave, and had her loving mother's hand on her each time one surged, always there to comfort her through. Such an amazing labor to witness...!

 Baby boy arrived just after 2am, with a mere 20 minutes of pushing. I'm so happy that they allowed me to share their story with you all, and so happy they came up with such an adorable name for the little guy, welcome to the World, Cameron. 

P.S. We usually take guesses after baby is born as to what their weight/height will be...I was 1oz over!
