Behind the scenes with Natalie Bee is usually pretty laid back and fun, although, I am usually sore the next day from and the ups and downs! I work with prime lenses 99% of the time, which means they do not have a zoom on them. I have to move my body to whatever angle I want to capture in-camera. Basically, I get a much-needed workout! Sometimes it is a challenge going to the client's home for the session, because unless you are familiar with the home, you don't really know what you're walking into. So, a lot of the time I have to improvise with lighting and backdrops, move furniture (and move it back, of course)...but it always works out great...! See me? With all that fuzzy hair?!? ;) This maternity session took place at the client's home, and they had a bay window that had GLORIOUS light, so we really stuck to that one area and had to take advantage of it...both at this session, and the newborn. The newborn session also took place in-home, in front of the same window: This was my 3rd newborn session as a professional photographer.
