Baking with my mom is one of my most fond childhood memories.
Since becoming a mother myself, I have grown a bit more sentimental... I knew I needed to document some of my favorite recipes we made. I could tell you this was a nutritional, fat and calorie free, and even perhaps guilt free recipe, but I would be a big, fat, pants-on-fire liar. What I can tell you is, it's literally mouth-watering!!! 1 C. Flour 1 C. Brown Sugar 1/2 C. Crisco 1 tsp. Cinnamon 6-8 Granny Smith apples, sliced and peeled Optional: 1/4 C. Instant oats Pack sliced apples into pyrex baking dish, almost full. Mix dry ingredients, add crisco, and mix together until mostly blended into a crumble. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 (ish) minutes, and enjoy! Super simple, super tasty.
