Oh, this sweet little girl was an absolute fantastic sleeper for me, making the session a breeze!
A few "secrets" on getting the most out of your newborn session: - Keep your newborn awake for at least an hour before the session - Give them a nice full feeding, just as you show up to the studio - If you can, bring a small bottle of pumped milk (or extra formula) for any top-offs - Pacifiers help tremendously, even if it is for only these few hours I heat up my studio to make it nice and cozy for baby, turn on a white noise machine to comfort them even more. Then I add a tight swaddle, and a good "shhhh" in their ear…you almost always will have a very asleep baby on your hands, perfect for the newborn session!
