I will be saying goodbye to my dearly-loved home studio soon, but I am going out with a big BANG and hosting these awesome Holiday Pajama mini sessions for all the adorable littles I have photographed over the years!!! ...Don't you worry though, this doesn't mean I am not doing photography anymore, it just means that I am still searching for the perfect studio for me, and my art. So come join me for my very last mini session here, and help me say goodbye to this beloved space that has been home to my natural light studio now for nearly 3 years!
These 15 minute sessions include an all-white simple setup, and 3 digital images with the fee. Any additional images are only $20 [for this mini session only]. The Last Touch of Summer Sun: A Maternity Session - Spokane, Washington Birth Photographer10/6/2017 One of the biggest joys of this job is watching loving couples become parents.
You can feel the anticipation, the excitement, the anxiety, and the fear of the unknown. The even better part? Being able to see how they change from the maternity session, to the newborn session; how having a baby has transformed them this early in parenthood. I am currently booking 2018 maternity | birth | newborn stories, and would love to tell yours...let's chat! smile@nataliebeephotography.com What are all the things in a month that you could skip out on in order to afford something that you value...Target or mall trips? Movie Theater tickets? Eating out at restaurants? Getting your nails or hair done? Going out to concerts? Going to the tanning bed? The HBO, Starz, Hulu, and Netflix account? Mine was that fancy quad shot vanilla latte from Wake Up Call: At roughly $5 per day, at 30 days a month...that was $150 a month! *eek!* My basic Birth Photography package is $1,200; 25% is due at booking as a non-refundable retainer, plus 9 months of $100 payments, and BAM! You got yourself a birth photographer. Even better? Sign up for a free Gift Registry, and let your family and friends chip-in to make it even more affordable for you! Need a doula too? I got you covered! Birth Photographer + Doula client discount...does it get any easier? I think not. If professional birth photography is something that you truly value, it is not out of reach, I promise! It is so important to have these memories professionally documented, and I truly believe it should be an available option for anyone and EVERYONE. I can make it possible with one of my flexible, no-interest payment plans. I would love to chat more about all the different payment options and packages available, contact me today: Home Water Birth of baby 'E' with Spokane River Midwives - Spokane, Washington Birth Photographer8/24/2017 If there ever was an 'ideal' home birth, this would have been it!
Mom & dad labored peacefully together in their room, while the midwives occasionally checked in on them to check heart tones of baby, and to see how mom was progressing; Hands-off, intuitive, peaceful, family-centered. This mama honestly did not look, nor act, like she was late in labor! The midwives and I went back downstairs to get a snack and to chat a little bit, while giving the family some space to labor alone, but then we heard pounding on the ceiling: baby was coming out!!!! We flew up the stairs, and quietly shuffled into the master bedroom, where we found her so focused on breathing her baby down, and out. Their 3rd baby boy was born in water, surrounded by so much love, and his two big brothers even got to witness it; Such a cool experience for them, and me. And look at that sweet midwife's face!!! It says it all: she LOVES her job (Spokane River Midwives). Every birth is such an honor to be a part of, each story so unique and beautiful. Congratulations to the 'G' fam!! This gorgeous couple recently got married, and the honeymoon phase definitely isn't over; the heat between them was simply too much...we had to jump in the water!! Warning: This blog post contains educational material on the placenta, and is shown in it's raw form here. Life-sustainer, the Tree of Life, our first home; the Placenta.
Look at each one, and how different each is from the next...our bodies are truly amazing! The placenta is the only *truly* disposable organ, giving nutrients and oxygenated blood to the fetus growing inside the mother. Half blood from the mother, half blood from the baby, but never mixing from each. One side of the placenta carries the amniotic sac, a thin membrane-sealed bag where the baby lives, surrounded by fluid, until term. So, when a woman's "water breaks", it is the amniotic sac rupturing and the fluid either leaking, or gushing. The practice of delayed cord clamping is to ensure all the rich placenta blood makes it back into the baby's body instead of being left in the placenta. To make sure that blood is given back to baby, it only takes a few moments for the blood to transfer to baby, enough for the umbilical cord to fall white and limp, ready to cut. Just like every birth, every placenta is so unique and beautiful, see so for yourself! There are really no words to describe how beautiful this maternity session was, the pictures speak for themselves: sunset + pregnant belly + tattoos = *this* photographer's dream session.
I am currently booking a few more Summer maternity/newborn sessions, as well as interviewing for 2018 birth stories!
